Former CT Tiger Devon Travis Homers On Opening Day For Blue Jays!
Former 2012 Connecticut Tigers' second baseman Devon Travis homered for the Toronto Blue Jays in the Toronto's 6-1 rout over the New York Yankees on opening day at Yankee Stadium Monday.
Travis has become the first ex-CT Tiger to land a starting job in the major leagues. Travis was the Detroit Tigers #1 prospect before he was traded Toronto this winter to outfielder Anthony Gose.
CT Tiger fans might remembered Devon's game winning homer in the marathon extra innings game against Vermont at Dodd Stadium in July 2012!
