Three Former Connecticut Tigers Among Detroit's Top 10 Prospects for 2014!

Three former Connecticut Tigers are among the top 10 prospects in the Detroit Tigers organization heading into the 2014 season (according to Baseball America.)

Second baseman and 2012 CT Tiger infielder Devon Travis has been voted as the Detroit Tigers #2 prospect in 2014 after being named Detroit Tigers 2013 Minor League Player Of The Year. Scouts see Travis as the future second baseman with the Detroit Tigers as early as 2015.

Right-handed pitcher and 2013 CT Tiger Jonathon Crwaford is listed as Detroit's #6 prospect after a short but impressive stint in Connecticut in 2013 (Crawford was Detroit's first round draft pick in 2013.)

Shortstop and and 2011 CT Tiger Eugenio Suarez has been listed as the Detroit Tigers #8 prospect. Suarez has seen time at both second base and shortstop in his minor league career. He was in big league camp with Detroit in 2013.
