The Detroit Tigers selected California High School outfielder Derek Hill with 23rd pick in the first round of the 2014 MLB Amateur Draft. Some scouts compare Hill to current Detroit Tiger All Star outfielder Torii Hunter. Hill will likely see time in Norwich in 2014!
