If you are a Connecticut Tigers fan who pays attention, then you will surely remember Friday night August 6 th in 2010 when Hudson Valley lefty pitcher Zach Rosscup held the CT Tigers to 1 hit in 6 scoreless innings with 6 strikeouts, setting up a 12-0 win by Hudson Valley. Rosscup was traded by Tampa to the Chicago Cubs later that year in the Matt Garza deal. Since then Rosscup has shot through the Cubs minor league system. He made his major league debut for the Cubs against the Marlins last night, tossing 0.2 of an inning and retiring both batters he faced.
