CT Tigers Hold Off Vermont 7-6 July 4th In Norwich

The Connecticut Tigers brought the heavy lumber again on Saturday night but almost let a 7-2 lead slip away, before sealing a 7-6 win before a holiday crowd of 3776 at Dodd Stadium. Tiger RF Joe Havrilak belted his first HR as a Tiger (a three run shot in the 4th inning, 3B/DH Josh Lester also blasted a two run shot in the 5th for his first Tiger homer. The win improved the Tigers' record to 8-7.
