The Connecticut Tigers are off the their worst start in the team's four year history. The Tigers lost their fourth straight game to start the 2013 season with Friday's 4-1 loss to the Vermont Lake Monsters in Vermont. The lone bright spot for the Tigers was Detroit first round pick in 2013 Jonathon Crawford getting his first start for Connecticut. He pitched two scoreless innings, fanning three. Otherwise the Tigers offense was a no-show again. The team has scored only 4 runs total for the first four games of the season. The team is in last place in the NY-League Stedler Division. The Tigers face Vermont again Saturday in the final game of the three game series.
